What we collect: Teesside Archives collects, catalogues and preserves records and documents relating to the areas of Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, and Redcar & Cleveland, and makes them accessible for research.

Most Unusual Item: This Tees Conservancy Commissioners map of the River Tees in 1913 has a few unusual aspects – such as the scale which shows the cities of Carlise, Manchester & Sunderland confusingly close to Teesside. Can you spot the floating hospital too?
